I have finally redesigned my family's coat of arms. It displays the sable eagle of the Germanic people, a gules fesse which symbolizes a family of soldiers and those who are ready to serve the good of the public, and the coat of Saxony which is the ancestral home of the Sasses and where our name derive from (Sasse/Sassen=Sax or Saxon). The supporters are sable bears Rampant Guardant attitude upon a compartment vert. The bears symbolize strength, but are also considered the family animal. The helmet is a Great Helm (Barrel Helm) bearing gules wings for artistic design, with a torse bearing the family colors of gules and argent, which symbolizes (respectively) magnanimity and sincerity. The crest is the sable eagle with claws and beak or. The banner at the bottom reads "Ex Providentia Resurgam" which translates to "Out of Providence I shall rise again". This means that with guidance and foresight, either by the hands of the Gods or our own, we shall rise again anew, above our older selves. This (according to my thought process), leads to us becoming renewed, thus Providence means self guidance, a state of mind where we are content and happy with ourselves and our lives, leads us to a better life of our own making. On the banner is also a trefoil vert, a symbol from one of the coat of arms I've found for my family before assembling this new coat. It symbolizes some of my Irish heritage.
